Ana Elia Rocha de McGuire, Senior Technical Editor

While continuing to build the CarneTec franchise, Ms. McGuire also shares her meat science and technical expertise company-wide, overseeing the technical direction of the entire slate of technical articles deployed on our English, Spanish and Portuguese websites. Prior to applying her expertise to CarneTec magazine for the last 12 years, Ms. McGuire served as Quality Assurance/Operations Control Manager for two Mexican poultry processing companies; Grupo Buenaventura in Chiapas, Mexico, and Grupo Genera in Monterrey, Mexico. Ms. McGuire holds a Master’s degree in Food Science from Kansas State University and a B.S. in Human Nutrition and Dietetics, Nuevo Leon State University, Monterrey, Mexico.
André Sulluchuco, Managing Editor, CarneTec

Mr. Sulluchuco manages the Carnetec online newsletter and is a regular writer for the quarterly print magazine. He is a seasoned news journalist who has reported on U.S. physics research, design and electrical engineering, as well as wireless broadband developments in Europe. He most recently served as deputy editor for a UK-based monthly magazine, where he covered the Latin American construction sector. His line of work has led him to Brazil,Mexico and the Caribbean where he wrote on the latest industry trends, technologies and services. He holds an M.A. in Social Sciences and B.A. in History, both from the University of Chicago.
